These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Quayweb services and website.  By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Services

Quayweb provides bespoke website design and development services, including domain registration and hosting setup, tailored for small businesses.

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth project process, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and timely content, feedback, and materials.
  • Respond promptly to communications.
  • Review and approve work within agreed timeframes.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required before work begins.
  • Payment schedule will be outlined in your project proposal.
  • Final payment is due upon completion of the website, before it goes live.
  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

4. Revisions and Changes

We aim to deliver a website you love.  Reasonable revisions are included as part of your package.  Substantial changes outside the scope of the original agreement may be subject to additional charges.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website including text, graphics, logos, and photos are the property of Quayweb and protected by copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

Upon final payment:

  • You will own the website content and visual elements created specifically for your business.
  • Quayweb retains the right to showcase your project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

6. Hosting & Domains

Quayweb can assist in arranging domain name registration and hosting.  These services are provided through third-party providers, and their terms and conditions will apply.

7. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure a smooth experience:

  • Quayweb is not liable for issues caused by third-party services, such as hosting downtime or domain issues.
  • Quayweb does not guarantee specific results (e.g., search engine rankings).

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the project at any stage with written notice.  In such cases, the client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the point of termination.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
